The actor who portrays the role of “Bronn” in the widely popular TV series Game of Thrones, Jerome Flynn, is now part of the advisory board of a vegan lifestyle project that has introduced its own native token.
Dubbed VeganNation, the crypto project is creating what it calls a “fully functioning ecosystem” that is pro-vegan. Its platform allows the exchange of several vegan-friendly products and services that are “100 percent cruelty-free.”
Flynn said in a press statement:
“VeganNation is the basis of an international vegan economy that makes vegan lives simpler, more economical, and better for the Earth and the soul of each of us. VeganCoin will allow many more to become vegans and thereby contribute to the reduction of our ecological footprint.”
VeganNation is introducing a “traceable” cryptocurrency dubbed VeganCoin as part of its goal of having a decentralized “vegan economy.” The token pre-sale, which went live at the end of April, will give 10 percent of proceeds to incentivize its ecosystem validators (or “rangers”) and community, as stated in the Vegan Nation “green paper.”
The project intends to track the food or products’ origin through its platform, allowing vegans to verify whether the food is 100 percent vegan and cruelty-free. A product marketplace, an iOS and Android app, and an online social platform will also be provided as part of its services.
Actor Jerome Flynn has been a vegan for five years already and vegetarian for the past 35 years. He is an animal rights activist and a Vegetarian Society patron in the U.K.
