Crypto mining software application Cudo Miner launched on May 14 the newest version of its GUI miner in Russia, enabling Russian miners to more conveniently earn stable mining revenue with its highly-automated and fully-featured mining software.
CudoOS is a stand-alone operating system containing all the necessary software to operate a GPU mining rig in a disk image. It is distributed together with the Cudo Miner installer-based software, providing its functionalities such as built-in benchmarking, overclocking, and an option to smartly change mining resources to the most profitable digital currency, according to market conditions and mining difficulty.
Optimized to 4GB, CudoOS is capable of running a GPU mining rig from a USB flash drive, cutting an internal hard disk’s cost. Distribution is based on Ubuntu Linux, with NVIDIA and AMD drivers pre-installed. Several mining rigs can be automatically enrolled into the web console of the account holder through the user’s Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server, which is often a simple router. That lets miners monitor their performance and earnings and manage their rigs using a web-based console.
“Our goal is to make mining as straightforward as possible,” Cudo Miner Partnerships Director Pete Hill noted. “Cudo Miner automatically updates third party miners and features with each new release – for example, providing early support for Grin and, more recently, performance boosts for T-Rex miner and Bminer optimisations. This means miners can quickly benchmark and overclock their rigs in the way they want from the GUI, and then leave the rigs mining profitably while they focus on more valuable activities.”
“Russian miners with multiple rigs can now use CudoOS to monitor the health of their hardware, deploy new template configurations and view estimated earnings remotely from the web console. Miners can also monitor their mining hash and earnings per coin from anywhere, either aggregated or graphed per device,” Hill added.
Miners can select their payout coin to instantly convert from the currency they are mining, or manually program their rig to mine one coin and accrue the same coin. Cudo Miner 0.17 has the ability to withdraw funds as Grin, adding to the list of supported payout coins, including Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin, Ravencoin, and Monero.
Cudo Miner 0.17 is already available as an installer for macOS, Linux, Windows, and CudoOS ISO image. It has remote management features in the console which allow users to manage and control enrolled devices, chart their earnings, and check health (memory clock, graphics clock, fan speed, power usage, memory, temperature, utilization). Cudo Miner computes earnings according to the valid shares obtained from the pool-side instead of the hash rate reported by the miner, making it the software with the most precise earnings estimation.
The new launch includes advanced settings to optimize Bminer, a highly-optimized crypto miner running on modern GPUs, as well as support for the T-Rex Ravencoin miner for NVIDIA GPUs.
The Cudo Miner software and Web Console would be translated into Russian in future releases.
