Coinbase’s Visa Debit Card Provides Support for XRP, 4 More Coins

Digital currency exchange Coinbase’s Visa debit card has included support for XRP and four additional coins on November 14. 

The four coins are Brave browser’s Augur (REP), basic attention token (BAT), Stellar (XLM), and 0x (ZRX), Coinbase Card revealed Thursday.

Coinbase Card, which enables clients in the UK and EU to spend their digital currencies directly from their Coinbase accounts, was introduced in April and has only been supporting bitcoin (BTC), bitcoin cash (BCH), ether (ETH), and litecoin (LTC).

“Since launching earlier this year, Coinbase Card has helped tens of thousands of users spend their crypto as easily as the money in their bank accounts. With Christmas approaching, the demand for Coinbase Card will be will higher than ever,” Coinbase UK head of marketing JD Millwood said.

Coinbase Card has additionally extended its reach to ten new nations in Europe, making the total to 29. The recently supported nations are Bulgaria, Denmark, Croatia, Hungary, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Romania, Poland, and Sweden.
