Hercules SEZC has announced its first use case of the Hercules Supply Chain Blockchain Protocol as AnthemGold, Inc. applies the platform for validating the chain of custody of gold kilogram bars which supports its gold-pegged AGLD digital token, making AnthemGold’s AGLD tokens one of the most innovative ways of acquiring pure gold.
As Hercules SEZC CEO Anthem Hayek Blanchard explained in a recent press release:
“The Hercules Protocol allows the public to verify that the gold bars backing AGLDs are real. Blockchain provides 100% assurance of transparency and strengthens trust variables. With Hercules Supply Chain Protocol, we are able to validate information 24 hours a day.” He also adds, “AGLD tokens are currently on Ethereum testnet and we are excited to announce that AnthemGold plans to go live in the first quarter of 2019.”
Hercules Supply Chain Protocol is an open source software and decentralized blockchain protocol that leverages on public blockchains to provide decentralized proof of custody and verification for physical assets.
With the integration of the Hercules platform, AnthemGold can now concisely track and document the location of all indisputably verifiable information, verifying the veracity of its 100% gold-backed AGLD through a number of data collection tools, including sonic testing, spectrometer scans/x-rays, inventory logs, as well as video and still image.
As Hercules SEZC CTO Logan Golema stated:
“I believe the Hercules Protocol will differentiate and set apart AnthemGold from its competitors because of its ability to validate and verify, without question, that the gold that backs the AGLD token is 100% pure. The Hercules Protocol has the potential to change the way the world validates and creates together.”
