As indicated in a press release published November 7, the partnership was inked to provide an easier, faster, and more secure digital securities investments that would support funding for blockchain-based firms.
As Securitize CEO and founder Carlos Domingo stated in the release:
“We are moving into a future of more cost-efficient ways of raising capital and attracting investment. The programmable nature of digital securities allows stakeholders to do this with more transparency and control. The market is poised for widespread adoption, and this is where our agreement with AmaZix makes sense for us, by introducing value-added services for issuers and investors on a global scale.”
As it stands, digital securities have significantly been gaining traction in the crypto sphere, concomitant with the rising demand for an investment method that would provide the utmost protection through regulatory compliance. With the advent of digital securities like Security Token Offerings (STOs), modern investment has vastly evolved, transforming the way capital is being generated by boosting profitability, efficiency, and liquidity of equity.
Securitize is an open platform that offers a seamless and compliant integration solution capable of facilitating securities trading across exchanges and marketplaces. The platform features specialized tools that provide both investors and issuers better governance and management of digital securities, from its initial issuance to trading and distribution. Securitize’s open platform will be complemented by Amazix’s community engagement platform, as it would open a global network of investors for the digital securities market.
Commenting on the companies’ collaboration, AmaZix CEO Jonas Karlberg stated:
“This is AmaZix’s latest collaboration in a series of partnerships. Together with Securitize, we are aiming to facilitate the transition of blockchain startup investment – from the current capital raising model of token and coin offerings, to a more efficient, compliant, and programmable structure of digital securities. The flexibility of Securitize’s platform is demonstrated by its rate of adoption, and we are keen to develop this space further with them.”
